Congratulations to the Office 2.0 Conference

This week, I had the amazing opportunity to attend the Office 2.0 Conference in San Francisco.

I would just like to say a very public congratulations to Ismael Ghalimi and the team at IT|Redux
I found the conference to be amazing and riveting. The people I met in the hallway were as diverse, as interesting and as insightful as the panels. The range of problems identified and solutions proposed was incredible. The intermingling of clients, like me, solution providers like iUpload and Teqlo, VCs, and of course, the Enterprise Irregulars was amazing. Where else do you get a chance to talk with that range of people thinking about the next generation in Office Productivity Tools and Enterprise solutions?

A few fast notes:

  • I was really happy to see Joyent voted Best Office 2.0 Suite. I was really happy because Joyent is not just an online version of MS Office, but instead offers an amazing integrated productivity and communication solution that shows what is possible with these new technologies. I know some of the leaders of the Joyent team, and I have to say that they are some of the smartest technologists I have ever met. It is no wonder that they are producing such as amazing product.
  • The St. Regis in San Francisco is an amazing beautiful venue, and in the opinion of this hyper frequent traveller, is certainly a 5 star hotel.

    Hi Rod,

Good to meet you there too, I agree on all counts… Great venue, brilliant people, and a well run event.

It was an honor for Extentech to attend.

We’re looking forward to creating some allegiances and building out these visions based on the people we met and solutions we saw at the event.

    Exciting stuff.
